Action Alert: No One Should be Forced to Participate in Abortion

Nurses, doctors, and other health care providers are being forced to participate in abortion and to help provide contraception. Today, it is vital we support current legislation that will protect health care providers from participating in abortion and contraception against their will. National Committee for a Human Life Amendment:

“Abortion Non-Discrimination Act (ANDA) strengthens existing federal conscience protection laws and affirms the principle that no health care entity should be forced by government to perform or participate in abortions.”

Defeat, No Truth Has Been Told

Some may say that all the hard work to de-fund Planned Parenthood came to nothing when the Senate voted against the bill to strip Planned Parenthood of their $363 million in annual funding, but this isn’t the end of the fight.  I can tell you Planned Parenthood's victory email more than hurt, but this isn't over. For truth is on our side and we will continue to expose Planned Parenthood.

Although we could choose to sit back because the efforts of the last few months weren’t successful in de-funding Planned Parenthood, we must continue to stand for protecting the innocence of the unborn and the dignity of women.  Our phone calls, emails, articles, videos, social networking, and letters to the editors weren’t in vain for the truth has been told and millions of Americans who never cared what Planned Parenthood was up to now care and know that Planned Parenthood hurts women.  So I urge you to not let this defeat in the Senate and continued funding of Planned Parenthood bring you down or take you to the to the brink of giving up.  We must continue to stand for life and expose the truth.  If we don’t, who will?

In the many years I have been participating in the pro-life movement, I have never seen the pro-life movement so unified in the fight to end abortion, and de-funding Planned Parenthood is only one of the approaches to ending the devastation of abortion.  Continue to expose the truth of the hurt abortion brings to men, women, and children.  But most importantly remember that God is truth and with him all things are possible, therefore we must solidify our pro-life efforts with an abundance of prayer.

ALERT: Historic Vote To De-Fund Planned Parenthood

An historic vote will take place Thursday April 14, 2011.  The Senate will decide whether or not to de-fund Planned Parenthood of more than $363 million dollars in annual funding -- which is payed for with your tax dollars.  

Whether you are pro-abortion or pro-life we can all agree that our country is broke and we need to eliminate spending, so let’s not pay for birth control and abortion provided through this funding!


In a recent email sent out by Planned Parenthood they said, “Any elected official who votes for this extreme proposal is voting against access to lifesaving cancer screenings, HIV testing, and birth control.”  The truth of the matter is that there are many other organizations that we as a country could fund that perform  cancer screenings and HIV testing, but without exploiting women through human trafficking or rape.  A woman who wants to use birth control can pay for it herself -- we don’t need to pay for a woman’s birth control!

Urge your senators to not allow Congress to continue to fund the illegal activities of Planned Parenthood and to not buy into Planned Parenthood’s lies.  Women will continue to be loved and cared for even without the funding of Planned Parenthood.  Find you senators phone number here!

TAKE ACTION: Call to De-Fund Planned Parenthood

Pro-life organizations across the country, are pushing a grassroots effort to de-fund Planned Parenthood of their more than $363 million in annual funding with our tax dollars!

Beginning today until March 25, 2011 we are flooding congressional members with phone calls at their district offices.  All it takes is one voice of concern to change a mind, but we can reach our Unites States leaders with far more phone calls than that and ultimately de-fund Planned Parenthood!

See below for an update of what has happened thus far in the fight to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

We can make a difference!  

Here is what YOU need to do:

1.  Call your House and Senate officials at their district office and tell them you stand with millions of Americans across the country in asking them to de-fund Planned Parenthood in the continuing resolution budget.  Find your representative here.

2.  Forward this email and post on social networking sites multiple times throughout the week.

3.  Don’t stop after one call.  Continue calling and spreading the word!

Update:

A temporary budget was passed to give our Unites States leaders more time to settle on a new budget that will consist of serious budget cuts.  This temporary, three-week budget did not de-fund Planned Parenthood, but this isn’t the end.  When our officials come back together in the coming weeks they will pass a new budget.  We MUST tell our elected officials to cut all federal funding of Planned Parenthood through Title X because Planned Parenthood has illegally aided the sex-trafficking of girls as young as 14, covered up rape and statutory rape of young girls, and much more which you can learn about from these links:

Success! NOW, The Battle Continues

This last week has been one of great historical importance for the pro-life movement. The accomplishment of passing the Pence Amendment, which would de-fund Planned Parenthood, in the House of Representatives was a huge step in standing up for millions of lives lost at the hands of Planned Parenthood and in protecting many more babies in the womb from seeing their death. I applaud everyone in the pro-life movement for their faithful commitment over the past four decades, and as they continue to stand for the un-born; especially for their swift actions from blogging, social networking, to making phone calls to congress over the last couple of weeks. Citizens of America have made it clear: De-fund Planned Parenthood of their more than $360 million dollars in annual funding that is payed for with our tax dollars!

Now is not the time to sit back while the debate moves to the Senate. The fight has only begun and the Senate will be far more of a challenge than was the House of Representatives. We must continue to expose Planned Parenthood for who they are, they aid sex trafficking and fail to report illegal behavior, but these are not the only things they do. Planned Parenthood held underage girl who was raped, hostage, perform illegal late term abortions, and much more.

It is time to continue to put the pressure on the Senate to de-fund Planned Parenthood in defense of rape victims, sex trafficking slaves, women, teens, and all others who have been a victim of Planned Parenthood’s illegal behavior. Now, we must act quickly as the Senate is scheduled to begin their debate next week. Here are the next steps:

1. Continue contacting your Senators by phone and email
2. Create awareness of the illegal behavior of Planned Parenthood and re-post on social media outlets.
