If I do not understand why something is wrong, why would I be against it?
Too often I encounter this attitude from Catholics. One may know the Catholic Church's position on abortion . . . However, when a young Catholics finds themselves in inconvenient pregnancies, they often obtain abortions because society says it's okay, and they probably don't understand the development of the child, the dignity of the human being in the womb, the risks associated with abortion, and much more.
I don't want to see this happen to my fellow Catholic youth; therefore, I want to educate youth groups about the basics of knowing why they should be pro-life and why they cannot support abortion under any circumstances. Let's not allow the next generation to fall prey to the sexual revolution and society's acceptance of abortion.
